- reuse. bring in your empty Davines shampoo and conditioner bottles and receive 5% off your refilled product.
- hair for oil. through the organization Matter of Trust, we donate all hair clippings to the "Hair for Oil Spills" project. hair that is donated are made into hairmats, then used to soak up oil. Last year there were 2,600 spill in the world. how is that for recycling waste? www.matteroftrust.org
- recycle. thank you for recycling mixed paper, plastic, glass and metal in our salon!
- space. the salon is located in an old victorian turn-of-the-century building. the renovation during our move to this space included the restoration of the original oak hardwood floors, exposed brick walls and other architectural details. a new energy saving air conditioning unit was installed to counter the effects of heat-generating blow dryers. on beautiful days, the team prefers to open floor to ceiling windows on either end of the salon to utilize the cross breeze.
