BECOMING A MODEL AT SALON CONCRETE. By Suzanne

When the salon asked me to be part of their latest shoot, I was all in,
even before I knew what they had planned. When Tracy, Creative
Director, showed me their wall of inspiration, I was floored: it was the
epiphany of curated, colorful, full of intention.
Larry, Art Director and Sylist, already had a dress and shoes in mind,
and Christine, the owner, who also worked her magic on my hair, had
a vision that felt like pure art.
Shoot day? A dream. The salon was buzzing. Artists styling, models
laughing, Hailey capturing BTS moments, Bella (our photographer)
snapping every frame, and makeup artist also named Bella pulling
each look together with ease.
We were models, sure but we were also part of the art. And even with
all the pulling, pinning, and perfecting, we bonded in the best way:
strangers-turned-squad in just a few hours.
There’s something about this team; they lift each other up in a way you
don’t always see. It’s love and laughter and serious talent wrapped
into one space. And I get it now: this isn’t just a salon. . .
It’s An Experience.
Being part of it reminded me exactly why I love working with artists in
my own work: they have vision, they adapt when things shift, and they
show up with heart.
That day? The sun literally came out. And so did the magic.
